1. Napa Valley Museum

Located in an modern structure styled after a barn, this museum has exhibits of local geology, the Wappo Native Americans, and wine making.

2. Robert Louis Stevenson Museum

In 1880 Robert Louis Stevenson and his wife honeymooned on Mount St. Helena. Napa Valley influenced his writing with "The Silverado Squatters" and "Treasure Island." The museum contains over 9,000 items including original letters, manuscripts, and journals.

3. Bale Grist Mill

Built in 1846 this operating grain mill is a historic State Park, which serviced the surrounding wheat and corn fields long before grapes covered most of the valley.
