Spring Mountain Vineyard is an 850 acre Napa Valley estate on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain. Over 225 acres are planted to vine, representing 135 distinct hillside vineyard blocks with many soil types, exposures, and microclimates. Because of the diverse and challenging terrain, a substantial portion of the vineyard is planted in densities of over 4,000 vines per acre and trained to the ancient vertical gobelet trellising method. Growing primarily Bordeaux grape varieties, the vineyard produces estate bottled Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Pinot Noir. The quintessential wine from the estate is Elivette.

My wife and I made last
My wife and I made last minute reservations at Spring Mountain in the fall of 2007 and we are very glad we did. The tour was very enjoyable, our guide extremely knowledgeable, and the group size of four was perfect for an intimate and relaxing tasting. Spring Mountain does not take itself too seriously as many other vineyards tend to do, instead its patrons can enjoy fine wine with friendly staff in a beautiful turn of the century setting.
