This was our favorite winery in Napa. The tour was great and we loved the wine. They have a cute wine shop and a great backroom if you're a member. We joined the wine club and can't wait to go back.

Every vineyard seems to have its special attraction. Rubicon has a great deal of Movie memorabilia and the family history of the Coppola family. There is still work to be done on this vineyard as the grounds go from posh to dried scorched hills. I must say FFC had a vision when he purchased the old vineyards in the 70's . You get a long range look at one of his homes in the distance. The wine room is reminiscent of a museum or a library. Lots of things to purchase. The wines are pretty good.

Rubicon Estates is the show case winery of Napa. The trip is worth it if only to purchase a glass of the newest release of Rubicon. Plan on spending a couple of hours. The staff has raised the bar for customer service.

I have visited this winery every year and it doesn't disappoint. This winery should be your first stop in Napa Valley. The wines are excellent and the staff is friendly. Formally the Coppola, the Rubicon grounds are beautiful and romantic. Don't miss it!
