Donald Hess founded The Hess Collection Winery on the slopes of Mount Veeder, Napa Valley, over a quarter of a century ago. The winery has distinguished itself as a premium producer of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The Hess Collection Winery is a showcase for Mr. Hess’ extensive private collection of international modern and contemporary paintings and sculpture. The gallery is housed in The Hess Collection Visitor Center and is open daily without charge to the public. Other Visitor Center activities include tastings on a walk‐in basis with four of our current release wines and a food and wine pairing program with advance reservations.
