Napa Valley Vineyards

Etude began as a philosophy, not a place, although founder Tony Soter dreamed of one day creating a perfect home for his wines. That dream became a reality with the acquisition in 2002 of a winery in Carneros. Transformed into a state-of-the-art facility for producing world-class Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery consists of three beautiful masonry buildings – totaling 40,000 square feet – that occupy a picturesque setting just a few miles from Etude’s Estate Vineyard in Carneros. The first crush at the winery was in 2003.
