Founded in 1997 by proprietor, Darioush Khaledi, Darioush is renowned for its Bordeaux-style estate wines and Shiraz. Having grown up in Shiraz, one of Persia’s prominent wine-growing regions, Khaledi’s passion for wine was inspired by his father, a hobbyist winemaker.

Darioush implements old world labor-intensive, micro-vineyard management and new world state-of-the-art technology to craft fine limited release wines from its vineyard estate in Napa Valley. The estate vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Viognier.

The Khaledi’s heritage is the inspiration and vision for the Napa Valley winery, designed to incorporate clean, contemporary lines with historical references to Persia’s ancient capital city Persepolis. One of the most important aspects of the Persian culture is hospitality, and the winery is designed to create a welcoming, enjoyable as well as a rich and intriguing environment for guests.
