Aug. 1, '08, last tour and tasting of the day by Mary (unsure of name, recent migrant from LA, unforgettable personality) for two couples, locals, among others, was spectacular. And, yes, we purchased wine, the Gewurztraminer. A superb end to an afternoon and pre-dinner party.

I have to say that the tour was very pleasant. Took about 45 minutes to an hour. Be sure to bring a sweater or coat, as the tunnels below the castle can be cool. Beautiful murals in the great hall and chapel. The wine tasting was very pleasant, and they allowed us to split the tasting to be able sample more wines. Very interesting history. The view of the valley is nice from the tower. Smart idea using the Roman arches down below to preserve the wine barrels.

It seems each winery has to have some attraction and a 40 million dollar castle certainly was entertaining. This is a fairly long tour with good wine tastings. The wines were inexpensive and of the many wines we purchased at other vineyards during our trip, the castello wines were a favorite in some blind tastings. Castello has some nice cold rose as well as the table reds.
This vineyard is part of V Satui which has great lunches. Highly recommend

Hi :)
I very like you castle as a part of califormian valley :)
I would like to ask you if it's possible to book the trip in your castle for 16th of May this year?
I'm also interested in testing part of sightseeing.
And how many hours should I book for the trip, and what is the total cost for visiting you? for two adults?
I would be greatfull for your answer.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Marta

Well you have to visit the castle.. most just go for the cheaper tasting. However the reserve room is not only much less crowded but you don't feel rushed and the reserve wines are 3 times better. Great service
